At the Second East Economic Forum will work about 500 volunteers, it was announced at a meeting of a working group under the leadership of Governor of the Primorsky Territory Vladimir Miklushevskiy.

According to the Head of the EEF Volunteer Office Catherine Sagadieva, guys who want to participate the EEF events have to pass selection process.

"It is planned to attract 18-35 years old volunteers to the EEF, they have to know English and other foreign languages, literate Russian speech and good communication skills", - she noted.

All applicants will be trained, and then will pass a special examination, which will determine the approximately 500 people who will work on the forum. Their direct responsibilities they can found on the training that will guide them across the forum venues.

For volunteers the EEF will create a comfortable working environment - there will be organized hot meals and transportation services.

Vladimir Miklushevskiy paid attention of the meeting participants to the need of the concept finalization, taking into account the opinion of the organizing committee of the Forum.

"We have to know the opinion of the EEF organizing committee for selection criteria for volunteers. Children need to be active and independently offer their assistance to the Forum participants. In addition, we must study navigation issues at the event venues and instruct volunteers ", - the Governor stressed.

We remind that the Eastern Economic Forum is conducted annually in Vladivostok in accordance with the Decree of the Russian President. This year the EEF will open a row of important events in the world politics: later September, 4-5 the G20 leaders will gather at the summit in China, and September, 6-8 ASEAN Summit and East Asia Summit will be held in Laos.

The first Eastern Economic Forum brought together more than 2,500 participants from 32 countries of Asia, Europe and Latin America. The event was attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During the Forum 109 agreements for 1,8 billion rubles were signed. The EEF brought great benefits to Primorye as well – the total amount of the investments under the 22 signed contracts constituted 100 billion rubles.

The authorities of Primorye expect that this year the Eastern Economic Forum will gather at least 3,500 people. According to the Ministry of Far East Development the first list of invited people has been composed – there are several thousands of the biggest Russian and foreign companies. Currently they are sending out the invitations to the Forum participants. The operator of the Forum is “Roscongress”.

The hospitality issues are managed by the working group headed by the Governor of the Primorskiy territory Vladimir Miklushevskiy.
