The main goal of WorldSkills Russia is to increase the demand for vocational education that would meet the requirements of employers. It is also a real chance for students to evaluate their personal level of education and opportunities for finding a job after graduation.
Olga Permyakova, a Head of the Unit of Regional Authority, said that a team from Primorye was represented by more than 20 students in 2018, as well as experienced teachers and experts. Some of the participants from Primorsky Krai had won the qualifying stages of WorldSkills Russia in Far East. It is noteworthy that the students from Vladivostok State University of Economics and Service (VSUES) are the only representatives of Far East of Russia in the finals of the competition in the "Tourism", "Fashion Technology" and "Web Design and Development" areas.
It is worth noting that the All-Russian Union «Young Professionals» (WorldSkills Russia) is the official operator of the international non-comercial movement WorldSkills International. The President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin has emphasized the importance of this movement.
